The investiture ceremony of Prof Udenta O. Udenta, as a distinguished Fellow of Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, Africanist Scholar and Preeminent Public Intellectual of high repute, and as a Fellow of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), took place at the Chinua Achebe International Conference Centre, Mamman Vatsa Writers Village, Mpape Abuja on Thursday 27th October, 2022.

Scholars who were encouraged to attend and give their own very cerebral Professor Udenta, an intellectual guru, the much needed solidarity on his investiture ceremony.
Present at the investiture ceremony were the following literary giants and formidable global scholars: Prof Kalu Uka; Prof Ernest Emeyonu; Prof Femi Osofisan; Prof Olu Obafemi; Prof Akachi Ezeigbo; Prof Emeka Aniagolu; Prof Joe Ushie; Mallam Denja Abdullahi, immediate past President of ANA; Prof Razinat Mohammed; Lindsay Barrett, the Jamaican- Nigerian literary and cultural giant.
Others include Dr Wale Okediran, past president of ANA and current Secretary General of Pan African Writers Association (PAWA) headquartered in Accra Ghana.
