Mercy and Yina are currently playing for Nigerian U-20 National Team, the Falconets at the ongoing Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
Mercy Michelle Idoko hails from Okpokwu Local Government and Adoo Yina from Konshisha Local Government of Benue State.
Mercy gave the crucial assist to Flourish Sebastine who netted the only goal of the match that gave Nigeria the all important victory at the opening game against France.
They both play professional football for Nasarawa Amazons F.C in the NWFL Premiership.
