SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH PAYS A COURTESY VISIT TO THE GOVERNOR OF ANAMBRA STATE – PROF CHARLES SOLUDO

  • PLEDGES N500MILLION WORTH OF SECURITY MECHANISMS AND GADGETS TO SUPPORT THE SECURITY AND DEVELOPMENTAL WELFARE OF ANAMBRA STATE.

Yesterday being Tuesday; August 2, 2022, in company of Anambra South Stakeholders and Traditional rulers, I paid my first official visit to the Governor of Anambra State; Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo to congratulate him once more on his assumption of office as the Governor of Anambra State and assure him of my unwavering support for his administration.

In line with my first phone conversation with him immediately after the election last year which was predicated on my resolve not to challenge the electoral outcome and to support his government in any capacity, I thanked him for his formidable efforts so far in combating the pervasive security challenges in Anambra state especially in Anambra south senatorial district

In furtherance of my support, I pledged to donate FIVE HUNDRED MILLION NAIRA (N500,000,000) worth of security and developmental gadgets to the state Government which will be implemented within the next 3months. The donation is classified as follows;

  1. N200million for the training/provision of security personnel and latest security communication gadgets for Anambra South security vigilante groups.
  2. N300million for the provision of solar lights to further illuminate and strengthen the security architecture of the state.

My entourage and I also presented a birthday cake to the Governor in commemoration of his 62nd birthday anniversary which was celebrated last Thursday; July 28, 2022.

Conclusively, I seized the medium to reaffirm my total support and readiness to use my legislative capacity and instrumentality of the National Assembly to create synergy between the Federal and State Government for the improved welfare of Ndi Anambra State.
