On Tuesday 12th July, 2022, the PDP candidate for Member House of Representative, Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency, Chief Engr. Vita Abba OON (Onwa), hosted stakeholders of Nsukka LGA in his Ede-Oballa Residence.
Engr. Abba informed that the event was to solely thank the stakeholders of Nsukka LGA for all their support in ensuring his emergence as the PDP flag bearer for House of Representative, Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal. He pleaded that those present should convey his heartfelt gratitude to other members of the party at the ward level, noting that the day’s event was to serve as a first line of appreciation before he begins to meet with everyone ward by ward.
He thanked in a special way all those that contest with him assuring them that everyone will be duly carried along as the his victory is victory for all. He further requested of everyone to keep working hard to ensure that all PDP candidates are delivered in the 2023 general elections.
Various speakers at the event eulogised Engr. Abba, describing him variously as the salvager of their time. They went on to assure him of their total commitment to the election as it is no longer his (Engr. Abba) election, but that of the party and as faithful party men and women, that they will go all the way out to deliver him and other candidates of the party come 2023.
