MASEP replies Igbo Youth Initiative

    By  Francis Nnamah

We would have ignored the ranting of the convener “Igbo Youth Initiative” but for purpose of setting the record straight. Prince Alexander Ezeobi is one of those men who has constituted the clog in the wheels of progress for the Igbos in the Nigerian political firmament. Is it not obvious that the so called Ezeobi’s IQ is low in understanding the dynamics and pattern of politics in Nigeria? Even if history hold true in adjudging the future, dynamics of today is different from yesterday.

The intents and purpose of MASEP is the most altruistic Pan-Igbo Organisation bestriding the political landscape of Nigeria. Our over all intention is for an Igbo son to superintend over the affairs of Nigeria in 2023, as against the second fiddle kind of thinking of Prince Ezeobi.

We cannot achieve this as a geo-political zone playing a lone game. We need to create and recreate alliances and compromise as that’s what politics connote. If we must have a take at the presidency, President Buhari is only an individual from north invariable second term will have completed the 8-years presidential term of the north thereafter who is next?

Attacking the Movement for the Actualization of South-East Presidency (MASEP) led by Humphrey Onyima for endorsing President Buhari for 2019 in favour of Igbo Presidency 2023 is an act of self seeking vain glorious hero with the motive to endear yourself to the gullible Igbos who you can easily bamboozled.

To be bemoaning the past rather than strategizing on a way forward for the Igbo race is quite exercise in futility. If supporting Buhari is an anathema what agenda are you setting for the Igbo race come 2019?
