Just give a retrospective consideration of the people we have encountered in the past who are not good examples of leaders. Then compare them with those examples which you know of who are excellent leaders.
It doesn’t take long to realize just exactly how different those two leaders are.
The endearing leadership qualities of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, have contagiously attracted plaudits the world over and now the attention of the national leadership of our great party, the PDP.
This is because ever since Ugwuanyi assumed leadership, he has courageously worn the toga of patience, moving on steadily bearing all that he must bear. Ever ready to meet every challenge with care.
Governor Ugwuanyi is easy in manner, yet solid as steel. Very strong in his believes, refreshingly real, and never afraid to propagate what is bold, beautiful and golden.
Ugwuanyi stood out because he does not conform to the usual mould and doesn’t back down when it’s time to speak the truth.
The leadership burden divinely placed on Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has made him worthy of trust, and this makes it easy for him in winning those whom ordinarily won’t be persuaded with a superior argument, going forward and knowing he is right, with the ever assuring mien he ‘ll stand by his words.
Very effective in communication, valuing others and leading by example.
Governor Ugwuanyi’s tireless efforts in Enugu State prevented chaos and guided the citizens to maintain an enviable degree of civilized accomplishments.
No wonder Warren Bennis submitted; “Leadership is the capacity to translate visions into reality”.
John Maxwell is also in agreement when he postulated that, ” A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way”
In the personality of Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, The Odengene Peoples Movement (OPM) believes and hereby submits that the words of Peter Drucker aptly resonates where he stated; “Effective leadership is not all about making speeches or being liked; leadership is defined best by results and not attributes.”
Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is determined to succeed!
Gov. Ugwuanyi has an unfinished business in the making of the much desired new Nigeria.
