ENUGU GUBER 2023 AND SENATOR UTAZI’S HYPOCRISY

ENUGU GUBER 2023 AND SENATOR UTAZI’S HYPOCRISY.

It is important to note that we must not loose sleep over the noise making of Senator Chukwuka Utazi at the Odinma Nsukka Town Hall meeting.

The question to ask is “has Utazi in his hullabaloo representation at the red chambers, as the Senator representating Enugu North zone suddenly turned to be the spokesperson of Nsukka people? Absolutely not!

Of course, Nsukka will not fare better if they ever listen to a man who has never in his sojourn as a politician, nor otherwise contributed to the well being of Nsukka people, not even for their youths.

This is a man whose first antecedence in Enugu State politics was to stand in opposition against an Nsukka elected governor (Okwy Nwodo). Secondly, his position as the commissioner for inter-governmental affairs was a flop, as he was quickly drafted into transport ministry when his own constituents were demanding for his sack, or recall from Sullivan Chime’s administration.

His current antecedence as the Senator representating Enugu North zone is something Nsukka nation should testify if he’s actually doing well or not: but we all know it has been a failed representation, the worst Senator to have come from Nsukka zone. We can’t forget in a hurry, how he hoarded the essential materials given to him for the empowerment of his constituents/zone, which in his usual charisma almost caused an uproar at his country home in Ama-Ezike, Nkpologu in Uzo-Uwani LGA, as he was forced by the angry youths to bring out those items. Is such a man, Nsukka people in their wisdom, fairness, and charisma should listen and take his suggestions? Of course not!

Some of us may have forgotten that it’s this same Utazi in his drunkenness made a suggestion at the Odinma Nsukka Rally held on the honour of His Excellency Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on 21st November 2020, that the Governor should use the entire budget of Enugu State to develop Nsukka zone. Who in his right senses would talk like that, nor take Senator Utazi serious?

We also have not forgotten the “Akpa Amu phenomenon” of Senator Chukwuka Utazi, where in a national television program, he ran out of words, but resorted in using derogatory word to express himself.

The toilet pit like vociferous of Chukwuka Utazi are too numerous to count, but the most important thing, is we have a wise Governor, who truly knows the earnest yearnings of his people: and can always do what is right both for this present generation, and the generations unborn. Nsukka people are too wise to fall into the traps of their intimate enemies. And the likes of Utazi are nothing but cancerous species that are capable of soiling every little integrity the Nsukka people are known for, if allowed to further exist with their political shenanigans.

It is high time Nsukka people show the likes of Utazi the exit door of political retirement with his collaborators, the anti-equity, the anti-fairness and justice in the West (Senator Ekweremadu and co). These are the agents of destabilization, who never meant well for the people of their zones and Enugu State in general.

We have laid much emphasis on the importance of zoning, which has of course given us great result and achievements, including peaceful coexistence and tranquility as a people.

Therefore, on continous zoning arrangements we stand!

And anyone, or group who is trying to scuttle it does not have the interest of the Enugu people at heart.

The zoning principles, or mantra did not just start in 1999; it has been an aged long principle in the minds of our political fathers right from the inception of first Republic in 1979. Jim Nwobodo from the east 1979-83, C.C Onoh from the west, when Ngwo was carved in as Udi 1983-when military took over, Okwy Nwodo came in 1992- till when Abacha took over: then in 1999 it returned back to the East with Chimaroke Nnamani as the Governor 1999-2007, Sullivan Chime from the west 2007-2015, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi from the North is presently our Governor since 2015 till date: and by 2023, we should keep the rotating formula going as it has always been: or, do we scuttle it, thereby causing tensions, anger, anarchy, and political anxiety and crisis, just because of the greed of some elements who wants to swallow the truth and live in lies and deceits?

The establishment of zoning is by God: and it was created for the purpose of fair sharing, and peaceful coexistence of the people: therefore, anyone or group whose interest it is to scuttle this arrangement is doing that to the detriment of their soula, because God can never be happy with anyone who want to cause anarchy and political crisis in Enugu State.

Enugu State is widely known as a peaceful State, which has metamorphosed into the government (the administration of Gburu Gburu) we all are enjoying today. And it’s very imperative for us to maintain the status quo. The principle of maintaining the winning formula should continue!

The Nsukka people, as well as the people from the West must be careful not to stand in support with agents of destabilization: in order for us to continue the journey of our peaceful coexistence. Eight years may sound too long but it’s shorter than we all anticipate. It’s not enough to swallow integrity, and toll the lines of political impunity, thereby destroying the very trust we commonly have for each other!

Let us all come together as a people, and continue to give the government and administration of our ever indefatigable, and amiable Governor Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi the maximum support he needs in continuation of his good, credible governance in Enugu State. It’s important also to note that we have no other leader, than the Governor, because his leadership qualities are second to none.

Therefore, his choice is very paramount to the choice we make tomorrow. Let’s support Gburu Gburu to give us the best!
