Onyima Support Group (OSG) for Gburugburu recently declares “Operation Deliver Your Polling Units” in Mgbowo ward in Awgu LGA ahead of 2019 polls, mandating all her foot soldiers both in Mgbowo ward and other wards across Enugu State to push for 100% victory for the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
The convener of OSG, Humphrey Onyima who made it clear in Mgbowo ward that no stone should be left unturned in ensuring that every obstacle on the road to victory stands dismantled and decimated in the spirit of comradeship.
“In as much as we welcome the peace accord, we wish to make it known that we cannot be intimidated in our own land by enemies of peace and prosperity”, Onyima said.
Onyima called on the attention of all members, stakeholders to see that they deliver their respective polling unit; in his statement he said there is no way we can win the fourth coming elections if we cannot deliver our polling units. He went further s
tressing that “Enugu State is for PDP and there is no vacancy in the Lion Building come 9th March, 2019, no matter the matter, because Enugu State is in the Hands of God, and we all know that whatever that is kept in the Hands of God is absolutely protected no matter the façade of the adversary.
OSG writes to all members of the great group from different senatorial districts, local government areas, and wards to come out en mass on Saturday, mobilize more voters to the favour of the great party (PDP). After mobilizing, educate the olds and the uneducated towards the proper way of voting and encourage them to stay and monitor their votes for counting in line with the electoral guidelines.
Onyima admonishes PDP agents to make sure that a stamped, signed and dated ballot papers are given to our voters. Follow due process of accreditation, voting and counting. Make sure that correct scores are recorded in the result sheet. Make the security personnel your friend in your polling unit, relate closely with our party stakeholders. Make sure you have 99.9% of the total votes of your polling units in the favour of PDP. “Operation Deliver Your Polling Unit” is our collective effort.
