Hon. Prince Humphrey Onyima (EBUBE MGBOWO) is the Publisher/CEO of Leadership SCORECARD Magazine, the WCIFORUM Coordinator for Africa, coordinating Turkish Business Forum relationship with the Nigerian Business Community and the Convener of Democracy Anniversary Lecture in Nigeria in Honour of Nigeria’s 1999 Democracy, midwifed by His Excellency, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar GCFR.

Onyima was a former Student Union Leader who served as a Senator in the Student Union Parliament, former National Director of Programs, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Country Director, West African Student Union Parliament and National Coordinator, Rebranding Nigerian Network led by late Prof. Dora Akunyili under late President Yar’Adua.

Onyima is the Director General of Enugu West General Assembly (EWGA), who also served as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State 2019-2023.

“Today, I hereby resign and renounce my membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)

This is because, our communities, constituencies and largely our Enugu West Senatorial District are eagerly desirous of leadership that will set the citizens free and guide them to be self determining.

Leadership that will lead as models. Executing their mandate with courage, discipline, devotion and patience, thereby placing the people’s social and economic welfare as a number one priority.

I am going to naturally align myself with the type of leadership which will resurrect and reunite our homelands, leveraging on the inherent gains to cultivate self reliance.

Over the years in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), there have been a complete absence of peace and harmony which has grossly encumbered the core concepts of Democracy, thereby inhibiting the pace of our collective progress.

May I hereby assure my numerous friends still in the People’s Democratic Party and other political parties in the state that we are parting ways today to meet again in the future, in the service of our people. We are still friends with different political views and not enemies.
