Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has refuted her estranged boyfriend, rapper Sarkodie’s claim that he never asked her to abort their baby as she insinuated in her book, ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.’
Sarkodie had in a new diss song titled, ‘Try Me’, claimed he asked Yvonne Nelson to keep the pregnancy even though he wasn’t ready to be the father contrary to the actress’ claims in her book that he wanted her to get rid of the pregnancy.

But reacting via her Twitter handle on Wednesday morning, Yvonne Nelson said the rapper lied and that the song was a deliberate attempt to rubbish “a pain a young woman felt.”
She said Sarkodie drove her to the clinic where she had the abortion.
She wrote, “In my book, i narrated how you got me pregnant, How you couldn’t wait for me to get rid of it. How you drove me to have an abortion. As usual, you want to use rap to rubbish a pain a young woman felt. We both have daughters, lets see what life throws at them.”
The thespian said Sarkodie’s claim that she was desperate to abort the pregnancy because she needed to complete her degree was a “lie” as she was already a graduate then.
She said Sarkodie couldn’t have agreed for her to keep the pregnancy because he was in a “serious relationship” with another lady who would become his wife.
