Atiku Abubakar is a Pan Nigerian of North Eastern Nigeria extraction, a region that has never produced a president in Nigeria. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa is an intelligent undisputable one of Niger Delta finest politician and currently the Executive Governor of Delta state with the requisite managerial and Leadership capabilities to combine for the effective rescuing mission.
May we not allow men with cunning, ambitious and unprincipled to subvert the opportunity to fix our region and nation. For in their works of many years we have uncompleted projects littered everywhere in the Niger Delta.
Niger Delta Youths and indeed Nigeria Youths we are in our present plight because we do not do our duty, dutifully. If we must respond to the call to duty for nation and humanity we must look outside the box in considering the factors that will guide our choice of President in 2023. Invoke the spirit of the words ” though tongue and tribe may differ in brotherhood we stand”. Our indolence and indifference has made us vanquished when we never stirred. We will rise and take our destinies in our hands and elect leadership that can produce results.
We bring to light our resolved to bring to live the Social Development Pact we signed with Atiku Abubakar that we may have a better Niger Delta. We have made up our minds to let no one deny us this great opportunity to get the basic infrastructures fixed and chart a new development paradigm in the Niger Delta.
Great People of Niger Delta if we seek Peace, Prosperity for ourselves we must deploy new tactics in approaching political calculations and expected results. We cherish the ideas that our elders speak on their feelings on Dr Okowa, but the content of their expressions we are afraid doesn’t reflect the reality of the true feelings within the region.
In the future days, which we seek to make secure, we look forward to a Nigeria founded upon essentially on capacity to deliver our nation from the current unfortunate insecurities, failing economy, highest level of unemployment, lost of the sanctity of human life. Niger Delta Youths and indeed Nigeria Youths it time to immacipate ourselves from mental slavery, for non but ourselves can free our own mind.
