Happened live today 20th July 2023 at the event hall of Bolton white hotel Abuja where Soludo invited people to town hall meeting, the Chairman of the event Sir Emeka Ofor started the welcome speech which turned to a second tenure campaign for Soludo.
He miss fired when he invited the 3 senators from Anambra state to the podium.
He started by telling them that there will no vacancy in Anambra State government house in 2026, that Soludo MUST do a second tenure.
He told Sen Ifeanyi Uba to react first and Ifeanyi Ubah was shy and intimidated as he only chucked and chickened out with a plastic smile.
The next to speak was Senator Victor Umeh who said he had no governorship ambition, hence no need to respond to that, but that he campaigned for Soludo with the conviction that he will make a good governor, he advised Soludo to create access so that the National Legislators from the State can assist him in many ways.
The camel’s back broke when the enigmatic , dynamic fearless , youthful Senator of the Federal Republic, Senator Tony Nwoye took the microphone and started by reminding people that it was Peter Obi who gave Willie Obiano the chance to become a governor and Willie Obiano, gave Soludo the chance he is enjoying today as a governor.
But Soludo resorted to calling Peter Obi names during his Presidential campaign, which he condemned and told Soludo to stop calling Peter Obi names in the negative or else he will be fought to a stand still in the coming election. Senator Tony Nwoye to Governor Charles Soludo
