It was jubilation galore and Naira rain on Sunday as the Spiritual Leader of “Jesus Never Fails Ministry,” Trans Ekulu, Enugu, Prophetess Nkemdilim U. Adu marked her birthday in grand stlye at a colourful ceremony that took place at the Amaedo Event & Recreational Centre, Enugu.
The birthday bash was also used for the official launch of a N300 million Naira church building.
Addressing the mammoth crowd of well-wishers that include Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State; the Chief Judge of the State; Commissioners; Justice A. R. Ozoemena, local government chairmen; special advisers to the Governor among other dignitaries, the Chief Celebrant, flanked by her husband, Dr. Adu Chima, said she was happy that so many people graced the occasion.
She was particularly happy that Gov. Ugwuanyi came in person even she was a poor person notwithstanding.
“I am so grateful that you decided to attend my birthday. I am surprised that you remembered a small person like me,” she told the governor.
Chairman of the occasion and Commissioner for Local Government Matters, Barr. Peter Okonkwo, aka Ohamadike, described prophetess Nkemdilim Adu as another Deborah and Queen Esther that did wonderful thing for Israel when Israel was in dire need of divine intervention.
Okonkwo liked Prophetess Adu to a general, saying she was, “a military general in spiritual realm.
“Prophetess Nkem is a liberator in the name of God. There are many lives that would have been wasted if not for ‘our Deborah in Israel,’ Adu.
“If not for the woman we are celebrating, there would have been trouble in many families. When she says something, it happens, that is how you know who a real prophetess or prophet is,” he said.
Still pouring encomiums on Prophetess Adu, Okonkwo said she embarks on liberating families and villages and even use her own wealth to help people in need.
“She will go to village deliverance and will even give from her own pocket. The ministry you are heading will spread like an Iroko tree,” he prays.
Okonkwo therefore asked people to donate generously to the Celebrant to actualise the building of the ministry for the church building, saying that God loved cheerful givers who in turn would be paid back by God.
As if response to Okonkwo’s appeal that people donate generously, many people actually did and money flowed during the cutting of the birthday cake, selling of egg, birthday dance by the Celebrant and members of the ministry who danced their souls out in honour of their spiritual leader.
People also donated generously for the church Hall and many other activities attracted the flow of rolls of Naira from the members and invited guests.
