In a high-level agenda-setting session held last night in Enugu, prominent stakeholders from the Southeast gathered to discuss the future of regional integration and economic development. The meeting, convened by business mogul and philanthropist Prince Engr. Arthur Eze, OFR, marked the conclusion of a comprehensive tour across all Southeastern states.

During the session, the Southeast Development Commission (SEDC) received overwhelming support from key political, traditional, and academic figures. Notably, Prince Arthur Eze committed to developing at least one industrial park through the SEDC, a move expected to boost economic growth and industrialization in the region.
Dignitaries in attendance included the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, top leadership of the National Assembly, traditional rulers, and leading academics. The host governor, His Excellency Dr. Peter Mbah of Enugu State, reaffirmed his commitment to fostering regional development and collaboration.
The gathering underscored the Southeast’s collective resolve to drive sustainable progress and integration, aligning with the Renewed Hope agenda. Stakeholders pledged continued collaboration to ensure the successful implementation of SEDC’s mandate.
