President Muhammadu Buhari has summoned the Services Chiefs to an emergency security meeting which is scheduled to hold on Thursday.
This is coming days after the Presidential Brigade Guards came under attack by terrorists in the Bwari area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“Tomorrow the President has summoned another security meeting with the heads of the security agencies,” the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this on Wednesday during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

Recall that Senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had walked out of the Senate during plenary following the refusal of Senate President Ahmad Lawan to allow for the passing of a motion on insecurity.
Senate Minority Leader, Senator Phillip Aduda, had threatened to commence impeachment proceedings against the President should he fail to address the insecurity within the period given by the lawmakers.
