The Executive Chairman of Nkanu West LGA, Hon. Uchenna Callistus Ejim had charged party faithfuls in the council area to continually remain loyal and committed to the one and only People’s Democratic Party, PDP ably led in the South Eastern Zone of the nation and Enugu State in particular, by His Excellency, Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyichukwu Ugwuanyi. The Executive Chairman categorically made the statement yesterday during the monthly Local Government PDP meeting held at the party Secretariat, Agbani.Whilst laying emphasis on the truism that there exist only but one formidably united party structure across the length and breath of the state with particular reference to Nkanu West L.G.A, Hon. Ejim reiterated the imperativeness and urgency, for all the teaming members of PDP, our great party to eschew all forms of disloyalty to the party leadership and continue to remain focused even as 2023 general election approaches. The Council boss equally issued a stern warning to all party executives not to be part of any suspicious or malicious gathering of strange bedfellows imbued with ulterior motives and inordinate ambitions only possible in their weird imaginations; bringing to spotlight, the unguarded cum nefarious activities of the so-called/purported Oganiru Enugu State, stressing that “PDP Oganiru in Nkanu West will not be entertained under whatever means or guise, as our party’s leadership and hierarchy will come very hard on anyone who is linked to such mundane gathering”.He reassured party members especially, the executives of his unalloyed commitment to ensuring that they will be taken care of, as their entitlements will be placed on priority list, hence, any act of sabotage by any member, nonetheless the executives, will not be tolerated.Ejim appealed to the entire people of Nkanu West LGA to join hands together and support his administration and the leadership of His Excellency, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, stressing that “the governor will be the one to guide us on where to go in 2023, and wherever His Excellency tells us to go, we shall go with unmitigated loyalty.”Also speaking at the well attended local government PDP meeting, the Local Government Chairman of the party, Hon. Michael Nnamoko thanked the Council Chairman for attending the meeting on time, thereby leading by example, stressing that it will encourage other members to be punctual during subsequent meetings.In their separate speeches, the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Chijioke Oscar Ngene, and the PDP State Financial Secretary, Hon.
