~The Most Expedient Moment To Cross The T’s and Dot the I’s.
The various component Senatorial Zones in Enugu State can dine, wine and smile together. But chief among the focus of the togetherness rests solely on the foundations of mutual assurance, fairness, equity, justice and triangular equilibrium in the distribution of the common wealth of the state.
OPM views the rally of the Enugu East Senatorial District as a political diplomatic tenacity from a self-conscious generation. Obviously more of a public show of unity as well as Solidarity for good governance in Enugu State: carefully set up in mind with the ingredients of the momentous issues of the 2023 governorship agenda and possibly beyond.
It is therefore instructive that the rally be purely conceived and geared towards working out major agreements, so as to reflect the gratitude disposition of the Enugu East Senatorial District towards the God-fearing and humane Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. IFEANYI UGWUANYI (Gburus).
Under the rain or blazing Okpara Square Sun and a deep azure Sky, the entire Enugu East Senatorial District must assemble themselves and speak loudly with one united voice in total Support, for the good unbiased leadership services distribution across the length and breadth of Enugu State.
In the massive provisions of countless rural roads network, construction of classroom buildings and renovation of decayed ones to enhance the learning experience of our school children in the State, massive recruitment of teachers and provisions of adequate teaching materials such as computers, desks, scholarships and grants for indigent students, attraction and accreditation of fresh tertiary institutions as well as strategically siting them within the three Senatorial Zones to drive Economic growth. Inclusion of women and Youths in governance, value Reorientation and redirection of the Enugu State Youth towards entrepreneurship in Agriculture,ICT, digipreneur, Engineering, leadership engagement etc.
The talks in the rally may not have to last very long, it may be 90 minutes, half an hour less than planned. But it is expected that this rally should devote some good quality concern to the details of a comprehensive acknowledgement of the selflessness deployed by Governor Ugwuanyi in the service of our beloved State, and an unequivocal alignment towards remaining on the same page with his leadership direction as the only Lion in the Lion Building of Enugu State.
The worthy stakeholders involved must tilt their overall interests to the direction of the Rt. Hon. Dr. IFEANYI UGWUANYI in the journey to 2023.
As a devout servant of the Almighty God in the temple of leadership, just like the biblical King David, Gov Ugwuanyi will not fail Ndi-Enugu State. (He Placed Enugu State in the Hands Of God) and nobody needs to be reminded that God is God of equity and justice.
The conveners of this rally must understand the exigent needs and implications of it. At this auspicious moment, they must have to note all the contentious issues and challenges confronting all of us as a people. Both economic, security, national and regional interests and then be courageous to give an unshakable support to the Man in charge who have been quite excellently dexterous on the saddle since way back 2015 up to this moment.
Beyond the Enugu East Senatorial District rally, the conveners and other relevant stakeholders of the state must remain close enough to share frontiers in the sustainance of the formidable support base for the continued success of this noble administration, in the areas of security, economy, service delivery and nation building which have been the most cardinal thrusts of the Gov. Ugwuanyi’s administration.
This has to be so because, in the ancient Greek mythology, when politics raises questions and provide no answers, there’s usually always something wrong!
Our people would say “Okù agunyere nwata ñ- aka, adighi ahú- ya!
In the herculian and important task aheed of all concerned on this project, courage is required to note that in the ideal situation of Nigeria’s socio-economic and political dimension, Governor Ugwuanyi provided excellent leadership laced with timeless models and have continued to disprove cynics of his administration.
The substance in Gburugburu have revolutionized the Enugu State political process and brought about integration, stability and even development in real terms.
Therefore, Ndi-Enugu East should simply do what it thinks best, and which should safeguard the zone and the entire Enugu State.
OPM hereby call on Ndi-Enugu East Senatorial District to show more understanding, more solidarity and unquestionable loyalty to Our Dear Governor, especially at this moment of Strategic necessity.
