ODENGENE PEOPLES MOVEMENT (OPM) hailed the PDP Gubernatorial Screening Committee under the able Leadership of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, who through the outcome of the exercise and methods applied kept the entire South East geo-political zone of Nigeria in a quite special and impressive mood. Having applied absolute commitment towards the visions of the founding fathers of the Peoples Democratic Party.
OPM also commend Gov. Ugwuanyi’s sterling leadership in the just concluded three-man ad hoc delegates congresses across the 260 electoral wards in Enugu State, which was described by the Enugu State Electoral Committee from the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the conduct of the ward congresses of the party in the state, monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), as peaceful, transparent and credible.
The PDP National Electoral Panel said in their report that “nobody can change delegates who emerged from the ward congresses exercise” in Enugu State.
Overtime, Gov Ugwuanyi’s political leadership tools has remained accountability to the people, transparency, good governance, equity, fairness and justice.
The South East PDP screening Committee under Ugwuanyi has its presence as well as footprints on the impressionable minds and anals of South East’s political history.
To perfectly describe Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and the leadership ingenuity of his worthy Committee members, two things comes to mind: when you look at something beautiful (1) your eyes will capture the image (2) instant later, your creative mind is outrightly stimulated by the beauty you have seen.
Through the oral submissions of the governorship aspirants who have scored the process very high after they have been screened by the committee and numerous media reports which has equally praised the committee’s effort, the general mood and confidence of the public has been boosted and the Committee has succeeded on setting up a viable framework within the PDP political machinery which gives adequate focus to fairness, equity and justice to the leadership quests of the membership flock of the Peoples Democratic Party nationwide.
Governor Ugwuanyi has through his peculiar visionary methods and policies in leadership, established uncountable vital concepts of governance strategies which has changed perspectives in an astonishing manner, especially with an international scope.
