Earlier today, the Executive Chairman of Nsukka Local Government, Hon. Dr. Barr. Walter Ozioko met with the employees of Nsukka local government amidst joy and excitements.
The council boss appreciated the workforce for their services to the good people of Nsukka local government and charged them to ensure excellence in service delivery for the growth and development of Nsukka as there is always room for improvement and integrity to service.
He assured the employees that his administration with the help of the almighty God and the unflinching support and commitment of His Excellency, Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi to employee welfare across Enugu state, shall ensure a good working relationship to ensure improvement and productivity for both the workers and the good of Ndi Nsukka.
The Chairman, National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Nsukka local government, Comrade Ugwu George who congratulated the council boss on his one hundred days in office, applauded his selfless service and development strides across the council and passed a vote of confidence on the council boss for exceptional leadership, integrity to service delivery, employee motivation, improvement and productivity.
He also applauded the council boss for his role in ensuring peace, security and stability before, during and after the just concluded primary elections and his commitment to a transparent, credible, free and fair process.
Comrade Ugwu on behalf and for the union pledged support, commitment to work and excellence in service delivery to the council boss and the good people of local government by extension.
