Once upon a time, the comptroller came to pray at a mosque in Kaduna. After the prayers, he was stopped by a group of youths. He dipped his hand in his pocket and wanted to give them money. The youths said they didn’t want money, they needed jobs.
He asked them of their educational qualifications and was told they were all graduates. He promised to get back to them after collecting the number of one of them.
Upon his return to Abuja, months later, he called that number and requested that they should all forward their CVs.
They compiled their CVs and included that of their friends who were all graduates, numbering forty. Weeks later, all the forty of them received text messages of invitation for interview and screening.
Today, many of them have become officers and family men.
May his soul Rest in peace.
