Social activist Aisha Yesufu has said that she is ready to criticise the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on any of his wrong moves.
Yesufu said that her loyalty is to Nigeria and not the LP standard bearer. Yesufu stated these via a tweet on her verified Twitter handle recently.
Yesufu said she would criticise any of Obi’s wrong moves on one hand, but support him to win on the other hand.
Just so we are clear, my number one job is to criticise Peter Obi’s move that needs to be criticised. The second is to support him to win the election, noting that she only needed someone that could make Nigeria work.
“My loyalty is to Nigeria not Peter Obi. I just need someone that can work for Nigeria. Don’t get it mixed up!” She tweeted.
The activist had since been showing her support for Obi’s candidacy in the 2023 presidential election.
