The Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on the 12th of April, 2018 lauded the management of Leadership Scorecard magazine over his recognition as the media house’s “Most Outstanding Governor of the Year 2017/2018”.
The governor, who received the award from the publisher, Leadership Scorecard – Humphrey Onyima, in the company of his deputy, Hon. Cecilia Ezeilo and other top government officials at the state government building, fondly called ‘Lion Building’ Enugu, thanked the management for its vote of confidence and reiterated his commitment to the development of Enugu State infrastructure-wise.
Ugwuanyi further promised to sustain his administration’s tempo of running a people-oriented government.
He highlighted some of his administration’s achievements in infrastructure, health, education, youth empowerment, rural-based development and a number of others as the reasons for winning the award.
He encouraged the media house to continue its great work and never relent in asking questions of those in power, for the good of the nation and her people.
