Gov. Ugwuanyi, Ekweremadu, Okechukwu to be conferred with traditional titles as Ohabuenyi II of Mgbowo Gets Crowned 22nd December – Humphrey Onyima

    The Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Hon. Toby Okechukwu, member representing Awgu/Aninri/Oji River Federal Constituency in the National Assembly and others shall be conferred with traditional titles as the people and friends of Ekpulambo Mgbowo Community in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State gather at Nwahia Mgbowo for the coronation of His Royal Highness (HRH), John Azubuike Ibe (KSJI, FNSE), Ohabuenyi II of Ekpulambo Mgbowo Autonomous Community on December 22, 2018.

    The four-day ceremony would commence on Thursday, December 20, 2018 and climax on Sunday, December 23, 2018.

    On December 20, 2018, symposia would be held at the St. Mark’s Parish Hall, Alechara Mgbowo, followed by a Moot Court at the Igwe’s palace.

    On December 21, 2018, there will be a Holy Mass celebration and blessing of the Palace and paraphernalia of office of the Royal by the Bishop of Awgu Diocese, Bishop John I. Okoye, at St. Mark’s Parish, Mgbowo.

    The coronation ceremony at Nwahia Mgbowo on December 22, 2018 – conferment of chieftaincy titles on deserving people, followed by a reception at the Boys’ Secondary School Mgbowo – will be the climax of the event.

    The colourful and interesting affair which would have lots of dignitaries from far and near present would come to an end via a thanksgiving mass on December 23, 2018, at the Christ the King Parish, Amata Mgbowo.
