GBURUS WIDOWS’ CARE INITIATIVE TARGETS OVER 500 BENEFICIARIES IN ITS FIRST PHASE.
The administration of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the Executive Governor of Enugu State has made, and continues to make impact in the lives of people especially the indigent folks.
Just as the Good Book says, “a good father teaches his children the right way to follow”; Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is a good father that coaches his children in the path of goodwill as he is often called the priest in politics. The Governor’s excellent leadership styles are being emulated by his subordinates
GBURUS WIDOWS’ CARE INITIATIVE is one of the instruments for reaching out to, and caring for the less privileged and indigent especially amongst the widows. This beautiful initiative is coordinated by Hon. Dr. Ben Ugwoke, a humble and faithful aide to the Governor.
The kick-off event for the first phase is stipulated to hold on the 1st of August 2021 at the popular Adada House GRA Nsukka. The event is to be witnessed by Council Chairmen, Government functionaries, Stakeholders of PDP, Traditional rulers and the beneficiaries.
Gburus Widows’ Care Initiative is a platform to encourage the most indigent widows.
Our aim is to reach out to the most indigent widows/persons with some capacity support and train them in any microbusiness of their choice. After the successful completion of the training, we will provide them with financial support to start up a business that would sustain them with their families. They will also be followed up and encouraged from time to time to ensure that the goal of the Initiative is achieved
