The Federal Government has imposed a ban on the airplay of Eedris Abdulkareem’s new song, “Seyi Tell Your Papa,” on both television and radio stations across the nation.
In the song, Abdulkareem sings, “Seyi, tell your papa, country hard. Tell your papa, people dey die. Tell your papa this one don pass jagajaga,” using Pidgin English to draw parallels to his earlier protest anthem, “Jaga Jaga.”
The new track sees the rapper accusing President Tinubu of failing to deliver on his promises, resulting in worsening socio-economic conditions in Nigeria.
