The former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has taken to his official Facebook page to call out the present administration and the leadership of the Nigerian Army over failed security system in the country. Recall that for the past few days, there have been repeated reports of attacks and killings happening in several corners of the country. Recently, one of the most secured prison facilities in the country, the Kuje Prison, came under attack by terrorists and over 900 inmates escaped including about 64 Boko Haram members.
Also, the advanced convoy of President Muhammadu Buhari was attacked by Bandits in Katsina which led to several causalities.
These occurrences and many more made Femi Fani-Kayode questioned the authenticity of the Nigerian Government and the Nigerian Army.
According to him, he stated that it is now obvious that the present leadership of the Nigerian Army can no longer protect the lives of Nigerians despite it being regarded as the most powerful military Forces in Sub-Saharan Africa in the past.
Speaking further, he made it known that the present administration and the Nigerian Army must go far and wide to ensure that the lives of Nigerians are protected at all cost, adding that his reaction is far beyond party politics but is solely based on patriotism.
