The former aviation minister and human rights activist, Femi Fani Kayode has taken to his verified Twitter page to say there is something evil and sinister going on.
Recall on Tuesday when terrorists suspected to be armed bandits launched an attack on Kuje prison, setting free some criminals.
While reacting to this attack, Femi Fani Kayode said the incident has given cause for alarm and it has raised many questions because the DSS informed the prison about the attack before it occurs. He said the same warning was given by the DSS to the military before the Abuja-Kaduna train attack and nothing was done.
However, Fani Kayode noted clearly that there was something evil and sinister going on as people prepares for the 2023 general election. He asked if someone was out there making effort to cause havoc to destroy Nigeria’s democracy.
While concluding his statement, he said if so, who were those people, the countries sponsoring those terrorist groups.
In his statement, FFK wrote below:
“A situation whereby the DSS not only warned the military about the Kaduna train attack & kidnapping but also the Kuje prison break well before they both took place & the military refused to act to prevent or resist either of them gives cause for alarm & raises many questions.
“Whilst everyone is preparing for 2023 there is clearly something evil and sinister going on. Is someone trying to create chaos in order to scuttle our democracy? If so who are these people, what foreign countries are involved, and who is funding Boko Haram and ISWAP?”
