The Enugu West General Assembly (EWGA) hereby commend all the worthy stakeholders of Enugu West Senatorial District, working assiduously with our beloved Governor. Rt Hon. Dr. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in consolidating the Enugu State foundational fathers entrenched values of mutual assurance, togetherness, equity, fairness, justice and triangular equilibrium in the distribution of political power in our dear state.
Notably, the power seat of the Governor of Enugu State rotated among the three Senatorial Zones of Enugu State since Nigeria’s return to Democracy from the year 1999 to this day. From Enugu East Senatorial District to Enugu West Senatorial District, to Enugu North Senatorial District, from where it will now go back to Enugu East Senatorial District to start all over again in the interest of peace and tranquility.
Any politician from Enugu West Senatorial Zone whose disposition is on the contrary to the above sequence of power rotation which have guaranteed stability and lasting peace in Enugu State is surely alone and automatically in the minority stock.
The IFE-EMELU-NMA UNITY RALLY FOR GBURUGBURU is going to be a convergence of who is who from Enugu West Senatorial District, to make a bold statement in unity against the wicked attempt to truncate the zoning pattern of leadership at the governorship seat in Enugu State. And the reaffirmation of our maximum continued support to the people’s Governor. His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s Administration in his bonafide right as our loving father to make the choice of his successor come 2023.
We salute these notable statesmen from Enugu West Senatorial District, for aligning with this noble direction earlier championed by the ENUGU WEST GENERAL ASSEMBLY led by Hon. Prince Humphrey Onyima , at the forefront of this clarion call.

Who is who in our Enugu West Senatorial Zone have gathered, have spoken before now and will continue to speak. It will be culminated on the 7th of August 2021. The zoning arrangement will continue to prevail because it is quite obstinate and unfair for anyone to cross a bridge and break it so that others will not use the same bridge to cross.
Chief among the ingredients in the peace we have in Enugu State is power rotation. Not only at the governorship seat level but in all the elective political positions available.
We must not take the peace and stability which we have enjoyed under Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s Administration for granted. We shall continue to remind ourselves of the civic obligation of maintainance and sustainance of the peace in our political relationship. Major beneficiaries of the zoning formula of power equation from our immediate clime can’t be allowed to clamour and instigate the truncation of the only guaranteed peaceful process of power transition in our dear State.
The most important aspect of the IFE-EMELU NMA UNITY RALLY, happening now inside Enugu West Senatorial Zone is the positive consciousness therein. As we have adopted to the realities of peaceful political debate and directions for our 21st century political trajectory towards setting a borderline between the claims of divinely equiped for leadership candidates, ethnic chauvinists and Equity, Justice and Fairness in the distribution as well as management of our political heritage.
There can be no better timely alternative political movement that truly reflect the unambiguous position of the real Ndi-Enugu West Senatorial District other than the IFE-EMELU NMA UNITY RALLY.
