There has been a photo making rounds on the microblogging platform that reveals a Nigerian in a broad daylight at the airport outside the shore of Nigeria, wearing an armlet (juju).
According to the photo shared online, it obviously shows the photo wasn’t taken in Nigeria, but oversea. The photo depicts a Yoruba man who was in a bent position and trying to zip up his luggage while there was a white man, standing at an entrance, close to the Yoruba man.
However, while the Yoruba man was in a bent position, the armlet (juju) he worn around his waist was showing, which caused a serious stir online among Nigerians.
This charm being worn by this Yoruba man is what the Yorubas usually called ‘Igbaadi’ or ‘bante’, a charm that is worn to the waist as a form of protection against any evil eventualities.Do you really believe in the potency of Yoruba charms as against prayer? Let’s know at the comment section which among the two is really effective.
