The Governor of Akwa-Ibom, Pastor Umo Eno has announced a partnership between the state government and Innoson Motors; the biggest automobile company in Africa.
In a tweet on Thursday, Governor Eno said the collaboration will help in providing palliatives for the citizens of the state, following the removal of fuel subsidy.
“I’m excited to partner with @innosonvehicles, Nigeria’s first indigenous auto manufacturing company led by the Chairman of IVM, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, CON.
Our collaboration aims to provide palliatives, especially in transportation sector for our citizens affected by the removal of fuel subsidy.
“Together, we will work to alleviate the plight of our people and foster growth and pride in our nation.
The Governor expressed his gratefulness to the chairman of Innoson Motors; Chief Chukwuma “for his support and commend his indomitable spirit in establishing the first indigenous auto manufacturing company.”
