The Osun Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke has reportedly constituted a 37-member committee, to best facilitates a smooth transition between the incumbent and the newly elected administration.
According to the statement issued by the elected governor’s media office, he disclosed that seasoned intellectuals were invited to be members of the committee, present and former public office holders including experts from different fields of endeavour. They are: the academia, finance, law, engineering, labour, local government administration and the media.
The Committee is to be chaired by a Doctor of Nuclear Medicine and a Fellow of the Euro Institute of Reticulo-endothelial Biology & Medicare, Dr Muyiwa Oladimeji, while the Director-General of Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Hon. Sunday Bisi, will serve as deputy chairman.
The secretary of the transition committee, Bamidele Salam, is apart from being a serving member of the green chamber a legal practitioner. He will be assisted in this task by a management expert, Sir Adekunle Adepoju.
The committee will be inaugurated on Thursday by the elected governor.
Recall that Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP emerged governor elect after defeating the incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola.
