Your election to the Senate and that of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the PDP candidate for Nsukka/Igbo Eze South Federal Constituency, Chief Engr. Vita Abba, and the party’s candidates for Nsukka East and Nsukka West constituencies in the State House of Assembly, Mrs. Christiana Onah and Amos Agbo respectively, is a concluded matter as far as Nsukka Local Government Area is concerned, the member representing Nsukka East Constituency and founder of Ochudo Foundation and Ochudo Support Group for Gburugburu and Peter Mbah, Rt. Hon. Dr. Chinedu Nwamba assures Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, when he led representatives of the charitable organisation to pay a solidarity visit to the governor at the Government House, Enugu, on Thursday.
He reiterated the foundation’s undiluted support and loyalty to Gov. Ugwuanyi and his political decisions in 2023, attributing the success story of the group’s humanitarian gestures to widows and the less privileged to the encouragement from the governor, saying: “You (Ugwuanyi) are the owner of Ochudo Foundation because everything we do is Gburugburu this foundation, Gburugburu this support, Gburugburu this empowerment. So be rest assured that the PDP will deliver 100 percent in Nsukka LGA. We are assuring that there is no single vote that will be lost.”
Lending his voice to Hon Nwamba’s promise, the Chairman of Nsukka LGA, Hon. Barr. Walter Ozioko, acknowledged the immense contributions of the foundation towards the betterment of the less privileged in the society, reassuring Gov. Ugwuanyi that the PDP will be delivered overwhelmingly in the council area in the forthcoming general election.
Other speakers at the event highlighted the activities of the group and reassured the governor of their unalloyed loyalty and support to his senatorial bid and that of other PDP candidates.
