_Ndi Aninri Thank You, Your Votes And Support Won’t Be Taken For Granted, Says Hon Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah_
The People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) gubernatorial flag bearer in Enugu State, Hon Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has commenced what is captioned “Thank You Tour” with the primary aim of appreciating the people for their love and support during the People Democratic Party Governorship primary election.
Today 24/7/2022, Hon Barr. Peter Mba and his team visited Aninri Local Government council headquarters.
In his thank you Speech to the large turnout of party supporters at the Aninri council headquarters, Mbah said
“I lack words to appreciate each and everyone of you for the massive support you gave me either directly or indirectly on the 25th day of May, 2022 during the PDP governorship primary election. So, I came together with my teams to recognize the role you played in that victory, and we will not take it for granted,”
Assuring them of the implication of the decision they made during the election, Mbah re-echoed his resolve to reinvigorate the economy which will take Aninri local government and the state to another level of prosperity.
“For the past 23 years, Enugu State has been a lucky state because it has PDP at the helms of affairs. There has been appreciable presence of infrastructure enabled by the Governor and we intend to sustain that legacy.
“The Governor has worked very well in the state, in all sectors both in infrastructure, security,health, education,etc.
“We are aware that our economy and revenues are dwindling, so your decision on May was critical in our quest to revitalize the economy of our state. At a time like this, we need someone who can turn things around by changing the narrative, and in May you elected me to do the job.
“With your support, we are going to revamp the economy and move it away from the vagaries of national economy. How do we do this? We have clear and urgent policies that will create employment for the youth and tackle the root cause of insecurity.
“All our sectors will be integrated and we are going to move the economy higher. We want to tell you that our programme for Enugu State will impact positively to people of Aninri.”
Mbah assured, promising to unveil his manifesto and long term plan for the State during the campaign period.
The executive chairman of Aninri local government, Hon Chief Benneth Ajah in his welcome address thanked the Almighty God for giving Enugu State the best leaders since 1999 and thanked the executive governor of Enugu State for his fatherly love and supports to PDP and the good people of Enugu State.
Assuring the incoming Governor and other contestants that the PDP will not loose a single vote during the 2023 general elections in Aninri Local Government.
The Enugu west senatorial flag bearer of people democratic party, Engr. Osita Ngwu (RG) narrated the importance of Aninri Local Government in the area of agriculture and he also assured them that the incoming government will never neglect them in all areas of governance.
Group Capt Joe Orji who spoke on behalf of the good people of Aninri Local Government, welcomed the Governorship gubernatorial flag bearer of people democratic party, his deputy and other contestants of different positions in a very special way, he thanked the Executive governor of Enugu State Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and the chairman of PDP in Enugu State, Hon. Augustine Nnamani for the peaceful conduct of the party’s primary elections in the state, he however appreciated the party’s delegates for making the right choice during the primaries.
Captain Orji described Aninri Local Government as a home of PDP, he noted that Aninri Local Government is one of the local governments in Enugu State and in Nigeria which has no room for other political parties since the return of democracy in Nigeria, he further assured the flag bearers of 100% supports from Aninri during the campaign and 100% of their votes during the 2023 general elections.
