Doyin Okupe, a Labour Party vice presidential placeholder, questioned why people are coming together to lie and attack the person whom they claimed to not have structures and whose followers exist only on social media.
Nigerians have started campaigning for and supporting their preferred candidate ahead of the 2023 presidential election. However, many of the presidential candidates have been subjected to a variety of allegations and criticism from those who oppose their ambitions.
Some of the information being passed around on social media about many of the presidential candidates cannot be verified, while others are just to reduce the number of their supporters.
Doyin Okupe took to social media to ask why everyone was trying to lie and attack the only candidate whose party they believed to be structureless and only existed on social media.
However, he noted that his people are OBidient and what they are practicing is called “OBICRACY,” which is the process of taking over the government from the structured but incompetent by the structureless with capacity.
It will be noted that some Nigerians and politicians, including former APC Deputy National Secretary Yekini Nabena, have claimed that Peter Obi cannot win the 2023 election because his party lacks structure and only exists on social media.
