Rt. Hon. Okechukwu’s free WAEC registeration scheme at Aninri – By Tochukwu Chukwu

    A scheme, benevolently instituted by the Eminent lawmaker, Rt. Hon Toby Okechukwu , to set the Nigerian youth on the path of Education, to alleviate poverty and to create a foundation for a secured future

    The exercise was carried out by a team, led by Toby Okechukwu’s campaign DG and former commissioner for information Enugu state, Dr. Godwin Ikechukwu Udeuhele, accompanied by Hon. Tochukwu Chukwu, Bar. PC Chukwu, Hon. Chinweuba Okeke, Hon. Ani Israel, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, comrade Victor Onuoha, and the team’s photographer, Ibrahim Salami.

    This team encountered several outstanding students on their visit to all the public schools in Aninri local government area, but a particular student left an indelible impression in the hearts of the selection team.

    The senior prefect of Girls’ secondary school Oduma, Miss Ngwoke Calista, had been facing dire financial constraints, as she had nobody to pay for her W.A.E.C registration fees.

    As an indigent student, with a poor struggling single parent, (Mum), she had same problem of finance last academic session, and lost, but succour came her way this time around via this Toby scheme.

    This act of benevolence from the Honorable have started making ripples as the students prayed that God should give them the opportunity to positively impact others in future, in in such a way better the lot of humanity.

    Parents, teachers, students and indigenes of Aninri local government area, blessed and appreciated their benefactor and the delegation, as they wished them safe journey back to their destinations.

    Many thanks to Former Deputy President of the Senate and Senator representing Enugu west senatorial District, Prof. Ike Ekweremadu, whose network of roads he built in Aniri made the team’s movement seamless, as they crisscrossed the local government.

    Since the procedure has ended, all gratitude goes to God Almighty who worked through this benefactor, Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu. We applaud his effort to create the better Nigeria of our dreams. We also pray for the grace to continue at this pace, as we look forward to the 2020 version of the scheme to the glory of God.
