Nigeria’s former Head of State and Pathfinder of Democracy, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, has extended heartfelt condolences to Humphrey Onyima, Publisher of Leadership SCORECARD Magazine and CEO of Scorecard TV, over the passing of his mother, Mrs. Grace Nwoma Onyima.
In a condolence message from London, General Abubakar said:
“Dear Humphrey, please accept my deepest condolences. May the Good Lord console and comfort you at this time of grief and sorrow. Greetings from London. Please convey our condolences to the rest of the family.”
Mrs. Grace Nwoma Onyima passed away at the Federal Medical Centre Abuja, on Friday, November 1, 2024, at age of 73. Born on October 3, 1951, she left behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
According to Humphrey Onyima, “On Friday, November 1st, 2024, my mother, Mrs. Grace Nwoma Onyima, bade farewell to this world. She left behind five children, 16 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.”
Humphrey Onyima is the former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State on Media and Public Affairs, Publisher of Leadership SCORECARD Magazine and the Convener of Democracy Anniversary Lecture in Nigeria in honour of the Legacy of 1999 Democracy midwifed by the former Nigerian Military Head of State, His Excellency, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar GCFR.
Onyima and his family are grateful for the outpouring of support and condolences during this difficult time.
