Senate Appoints Ozemegwa As Technical Assistant On Oil and Gas

The Chairman Senate Committee on Oil and Gas Host Communities, Senator Benson Agadaga has appointed Mr Jeffery Omoh Ozemegwa as Technical Assistant.

This is contained in an appointment letter by Chairman of the Committee, Sen. Benson Egadada.

His choice for the job is due to his vast experience in the oil and gas sector, the committee announced.

He is to work under the supervision of Sen. Chief Benson Sunday Agadaga, who also represents Bayelsa East senetorial district in the Senate.

The letter of appointment reads in part, “The appointment is predicated on your extensive knowledge and experience within the Oil and Gas sector and your responsibility will include providing technical support and expertise on issues within the Oil and Gas industry, particularly in the Gas sector.

“Your comprehensive understanding of the industry will be instrumental in guiding the committee’s decisions towards achieving sustainable development and equitable distribution of resources as they affect Host communities producing Oil and Gas”.

The young giant whose height is yet to be determined has worked in different capacities some of which are as consultant for the immediate past Minister of Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning – Prince Clem Agba CON Abuja, consulted for the immediate past Vice president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo CON, on polling survey and strategic implementation Office TPP, Abuja, consultant to the Deputy Senate President on New Delta Initiative under the Niger Delta Unit, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege National Assembly Abuja and also appointed as Consultant to the Ebonyi State Government via the office of the Commissioner for Grant and Donor Agencies Ebonyi state.
